Happy 1^st Anniversary to Love Mini Me Online Store!!!

Time has definitely flew by, today marks the first anniversary that LMM launched their online store live and we have had successful orders and we highly appreciate all the support we have received.  A great day to remember all the hard work we have put in to see what we have achieved.  We know there are things which we could have done better but we are very pleased with the results so far.  

During this year we have learnt a great understanding in getting our self-owned brand out there was a very difficult task, with tight budgets and targets to meet the UK markets, but we didn’t give up and we are slowly growing for the better.  We know we still have a long way to go and a lot of goals still to be achieved, so improvements will be made. 

We found even advertising on a lot of social sites did not help much on sales, as to gain the public to know your brand and trust your brand was a strong barrier for us to break.  We are relieved that we had the opportunity to attend a few fairs this year and this was a very good experience, as this had helped us being known in a few local areas and what really helps is customers can actually see the quality of our products.  We hope to grow bigger and without you this will never have gone this far. 

To mark this first anniversary we are giving free delivery with every order made online for one week.

LMM are delighted to announce that we will be participating a stall at ‘’The Action Medical Research Christmas Fair’’ held at Springfields Event Centre, Spalding, Lincolnshire on 10^th November 2014 2:00pm – 9:00pm and 11^th November 2014 9:00am – 2:00pm.

This is our first Charity event and we are very pleased we are taking part enable to help sick babies and children. 

Here is a brief summary of what ‘’The Action Medical Research’’ funds (extracted from www.action.org.uk): 

Action Medical Research has more than 60 years of history in funding medical research with many notable successes. With roots in research into the polio vaccine, the charity now focuses on the health of babies, children and young people. We are clear we are working in an area where there are very real unmet needs and not enough research funding.

We select the very best projects and research training fellows through peer review. Our research funding programme over the three years 2013-2015 will aim to:

• Attract and select the best research most likely to deliver by using peer review and an expert scientific advisory panel to recommend each year research training fellowships and project grants
• Identify the impact of research by each year analysing the potential clinical impact of recently completed grants as scored by peers and carrying out selected retrospective impact reports
• Support the work of Clinical Studies Groups in the areas of neonatology and preterm birth
• Collaborate with other organisations where this moves forward key research.

The research we support focuses on child health including problems affecting pregnancy, childbirth, babies, children and young people.

Within this we support a broad spectrum of research with the objective of preventing disease and disability and of alleviating physical disability.

Our emphasis is on clinical research or research at the interface between clinical and basic science. We pride ourselves that our research is innovative and of a high standard as judged by rigorous peer review.

Within these criteria, we also support research and development of equipment and techniques to improve diagnosis, therapy and assistive technology (including orthoses, prostheses and aids to daily living) and encourage applications in the field of medical engineering.

Hello Everybody!

How is everyone doing? Sorry for the lack of updates lately, been really busy with personal issues, I’m back now :)

I don’t know about you but it’s been absolutely freezing in the mornings and night time, that I had to dig out my coat, the summer have surely ended too soon.  Looks like I have to put the heating on soon :p

Just a quick update… I would like to let you all know we have updated our Love Mini Me official website. 

We are pleased to say that we have received many requests for the Winter coats that were launched last year and due to the popularity of them we have sold out quicker than expected and many customers had sent us queries of when we can get these back.

Chinese people believe a full moon is a symbol of peace, prosperity, and family reunion. On Mid-Autumn Festival night the moon is supposed to be the brightest and fullest, which is why the festival is also known as the"Day of Reunion" and the "Moon Festival".

Craft & Gift Fayre at Baytree Garden Centre August 26 2014, 0 Comments

LMM would like to Thank You all who had attended the ’Craft & Gift Fayre at Baytree Garden Centre’ on Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday.  I know the weather was not the best over the weekend, so luckily our venue is fully covered so everyone who attended was able to enjoy it.

Thank You to all who have helped us out and we are delighted with the results we have achieved, and look forward to the next Craft Fair or Fashion Fair we attend.  I know LMM brand is still not very well known yet and will take some time, however we are working hard on this and truly appreciate everyone’s support, comments and ideas over the past 9 months.

We would like to share some photos from the craft fair and hope to have many more events to come.

We would like to take the opportunity to thank Baytree Garden Centre to have given us the chance to sell our products and for all customers to actually seeing our good quality products.

Good morning all, sorry not been updating much lately as I have been very busy. 

We have had quite a few emails regarding if we will be getting in more of the coats we had, i like to say that we have ordered some and will be available in September.

We have had other request on some other stock as well and we have ordered some and that will be available as well around the same time. 

Regards to getting in more different styles and lines, we are still looking into this, we do apologise about the wait, we have been very busy with going to charity events and craft fairs to get our brand out there and I would like to say thank you to everyone that helped and supported us.

We have been doing very well and we as a team are happy with the results.

We have not updated you on LMM for a while now, as we have been very busy. So thought it's time to fill you up. On this glorious day I would like to thank everyone who had helped LMM at their first summer fair on Friday. Without your help we wouldn't have been so successful. We did very well and sold quite a bit of items! We would like to thank everyone for their support! We look forward to our next fair... Watch this space...

It's been a very busy day before and during the time at the Mega Market held in Derby today! Thanks for everyone who had given us support and to all friends and family who came by to show their support! We really appreciate it! Thanks to Ruth the organiser of Baby and Children's Market UK to give us the experience of holding a stall at her event. It was a valuable experience to participate at and we hope to join many more events... 

As this was the first time we participated in a local market and we have learnt a lot from it.  It was a very good opportunity to promote our business and to let everyone see the quality of our products.  It was a shame most people were looking for smaller sizes and could not fulfil their needs.

We hope to attend more markets in the future to bring in the Korean trend.

Although there aren't many celebrations in UK, but there are still a lot of organisations who respect this day and publicised as much as they can.

We are so exciting, as we are looking forward to setting up a stall for a day at a market event in Derby, The Riverside Centre, Pride Park on Saturday 15th March 2014 at 11am - 4pm organised by the' Babys and Childrens Markets'

It is something we aim to do since we have started. This one being the first time is going to be a very good experience for us, this is also a very good chance to get our brand out there and for people to see our clothes with their own eyes.

I have made a list of what we have to do to make it a perfect day, so worried that i might miss something out from my to do list but I'm sure me and the team will make it fun and enjoyable on the day.

Although not everyone likes to celebrate Valentine’s day with their loved one on the actual day, as many people sees it as a money scam day and think why do you have to wait till Valentine’s Day to treat your loved ones when everything is probably double in price… but everyone has their own opnions.

However this year’s Valentine’s Day 14th February 2014 is extra special for Chinese people because the 15th day of the Lunar Chinese New Year also refers to as the Chinese Valentine’s day and falls on the same day.
The 15th day marks the first full moon after the Spring Festival and of the New Year, also known as "元宵節Yuan Xiao Jie’’ meaning ‘‘First night of the full moon’’. This day is also well known as Lantern Festival day. A reunion dinner is usually held with lanterns and oranges, as on this day many single girls will gather at the riverside upstream to toss mandarin oranges into the river, with the hope that Mr Right will await downstream picking up the oranges. It is believed that this act will bring the person to his/her right match. These are just traditional beliefs in Chinese history.
It is customary to eat ‘湯圓Tang Yuan’ (Glutinous rice balls stuffed with various fillings in syrup) to celebrate this occasion which resembles the shape of the full moon and symbolising reunion.

As the weather is terrible around the world you can stay warm by having family together for reunions and use the excuse of this day to put a smile to all your loved ones, it doesn’t have to be about flowers, gifts and surprises, just being together with your loved will put that warmth and love to them

We have now updated the website. Hopefully everyone likes it.

LMM is a new brand and started with just 2 of us and now there is 3 of us working as a team.

This business venture was all new to us and we have all learnt a lot since we started. Even to this day, we are still learning, gaining experience and inspiration.

Everyone has dreams and it doesn't just happen over night, although we wish it did ….. we need to work to achieve and to be successful, so throughout 2014, we will improve all aspects and take all advice and ideas into consideration.

I would like to say a BIG thank you to everyone that has supported us so far. We still have a long way to go, but with your support and trust in us, we believe we can do it.

After an eventful week of our Spectacular Christmas Sale we would like to THANK everyone who have purchased during this period.  We hope you are very happy with your purchases.

We have entered into the Christmas month.  This is the most hectic month of the year for everyone and we understand that every year everyone says they want to spend less, only to look for things that are within their budget.  However the same thing happens to me and always end up spending more than I plan to but it's only once a year and it keeps everyone happy for this festive season.  Of course it's the thought that counts and want to keep children happy and anything should be a special gift and appreciated. 

We know it's hard to know what to buy for children especially with everything moving at this fast pace.  We are here to help bring ideas and clothing is always a nice way to make children look and feel trendy in parties and family get togethers.  So next week we will bring in some special offers which can be your helping hand so watch this space and we will update here and Facebook.
